Westfield Man Accused of Stealing from Former Business Partner

A Westfield man is facing a petit larceny charge after allegedly stealing money from his business partner.  According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, 51-year-old Todd Peterson was in a partnership to an area campground from January 2014 to November 11th, 2016, when he had signed his half over to his business partner.  On January 11th, nearly two months after Peterson transferred his ownership, he allegedly knowingly accessed the old partnership's bank account via the Internet and made an unauthorized transfer of $800 to his own personal bank account.  Peterson is scheduled to appear in Westfield Town Court at a later date.
