Two Westfield men are facing several charges after allegedly breaking into a number of vehicles last Tuesday. Westfield Police were called to 6976 South Portage Street in the Town of Westfield that morning to investigate a theft from a vehicle. During the investigation, officers were able to track fresh footprints in the snow that led to multiple locations with other vehicles that the two suspects allegedly entered or tried to enter. 24-year-old Daniel Geiger and 25-year-old William Taggesell III were found at a residence in the Village of Westfield and allegedly found to be in possession of multiple items stolen from multiple vehicles. The two were charged with four counts of 4th-degree grand larceny, 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, and 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
