A 19-year-old Cattaraugus man was jailed on several charges last weekend after leading police on a short pursuit. Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies arrested Freeman Yoder on Saturday, February 11th after leading them on the pursuit in the Town of New Albion. Yoder was charged with 3rd-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer, unlawful possession of alcohol, 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, reckless driving, and multiple other vehicle and traffic infractions. He was arraigned on the charges and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
