A Forestville man is facing charges including DWI and speeding after a short pursuit with police late Saturday night. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies say they observed a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Peter Wyksta speeding on South Roberts Road and then on Whitaker Road in the town of Sheridan. After ending the pursuit, Wykstra was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI Per Se, fail to comply with police officer, speed in zone, speed over 55 mph and fail to stop at stop sign. Wyktra will answer the charges in Sheridan Town Court.
