Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers have charged a Buffalo man with 2nd-degree criminal contempt after he allegedly violated an order of protection. At about 4:30 PM Tuesday, deputies were called to a report of a possible trespass on Shaw Road in the Town of Arkwright. On arrival, they found 31-year-old Michael Lawrence and another individual at the property. Deputies determined that there was a valid order of protection between Lawrence and the other person. Lawrence was released with an appearance ticket for Arkwright Town Court.
