A traffic stop late Tuesday afternoon in the Village of Westfield led to a DWI charge against a Ripley man. At about 5:30 PM, Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers pulled over 47-year-old Travis Abbey on Union Street for failing to signal. An investigation found that Abbey was allegedly intoxicated. He was charged with DWI and failure to signal, and he will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
