A traffic stop on Interstate 86 in Cattaraugus County last weekend resulted in a drunk driving charge against a Randolph man. On Sunday, State Police in Jamestown responded to a report of a vehicle parked in the eastbound lanes of I-86 in the Town of Randolph. On arrival, troopers found the vehicle running with 28-year-old Westley Bennett sleeping at the wheel. Bennett was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests and later registered a BAC of .14%. Bennett was issued tickets and will appear in Randolph Town Court next month.
