A Fredonia man was charged with DWI and speeding after a traffic stop early Sunday morning in the Town of Pomfret. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle on Straight Road at about 2:00 AM. An investigation found that the driver, 36-year-old Kevin Ludemann, was allegedly intoxicated. Ludemann was taken into custody and later released with tickets to appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
