A Gerry man was charged with drunk driving following a traffic stop early Wednesday morning. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle for a lane violation on Salisbury Road in the Town of Gerry shortly before 1:00 AM. Further investigation found that 47-year-old William Best, Jr. was allegedly intoxicated. Best will appear in Gerry Town Court on charges of DWI and moving from lane unsafely.
