The Lakeshore Humane Society will hold a mid-week Pet Adoption Evening at its Adoption Center on Thursday, March 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The center is located at 431 E. Chestnut Street, Dunkirk. If unable to come to an Adoption Day, usually held on Saturdays, this is an opportunity to see the dogs and cats awaiting adoption. (You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet.) Please also note that the LHS is collecting refundable bottles and cans in a collection bin in the lobby of the Adoption Center.
