The Cattaraugus Indian Reservation man who fatally stabbed his half-brother multiple times in 2012 was given a maximum prison sentence today in Erie County Court. 22-year-old Cody Testerman, who pleaded guilty to 1st-degree manslaughter, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, and was also given five years probation. In July 2012, Testerman stabbed 20-year-old Jesse Seneca 22 times on the Reservation, and left his body near a dirt road off Brant Reservation Road. Testerman was sentenced one week after a 19-year-old Silver Creek woman was sentenced to one to three years behind bars for helping hide the body.
