Group of Nine Caught Trespassing at Abandoned Hospital Building

Nine people from Erie County were charged with trespassing after they were spotted near an abandoned hospital building Tuesday night in Perrysburg.  State Police in Collins say all nine individuals, ages 18 to 21, were caught inside the fenced-in grounds of the abandoned JN Adam complex. The following people are due in Perrsyburg Town Court at a later date:

Emmett Gerwitz, 20, of West Seneca

Daniel Morris, 19, of Orchard Park

Austin Antkowiak, 20 of Orchard Park

Maxwell Murray, 21, of Orchard Park

Heather Mejia, 20, of Blasdell

Robert Hartman, 19, of Orchard Park

Ashlee Hartman, 20, of Orchard Park

Kristin Cerrone, 20, of Colden

Gabrielle Kindzirski, 18, of Cheektowaga

Troopers say recent inspections of the deteriorating building have prompted an increased police presence in that area, and warn that any "urban explorers" or "ghost hunters" caught on those grounds will be charged.
