Professional firefighters raise funds for MDA in Dunkirk and Fredonia

Dunkirk Professional Firefighters Local 616 and Fredonia Professional Firefighters Local 2931 have been holding "fill the boot" campaigns today to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Tony Thomas has coordinating the collections in city of Dunkirk.  He says city firefighters have had a long association with MDA.

Dunkirk firefighters were collecting at the corner of Central Avenue and Fourth Street.  And for the first time,  Fredonia firefighters held a "fill the boot" campaign at the corner of Temple and Church Street.
