One person was injured in a rollover accident Sunday afternoon in the Town of Sheridan. State Police in Fredonia tell WDOE News that 24-year-old Tabitha Rosas of Dunkirk was traveling west on Straight Road around 3:30 PM when she tried to avoid an eastbound vehicle that failed to yield the right of way. Troopers say Rosas went off the side of the road, spun out of control, and overturned into a ditch. Rosas was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle left the scene before police arrived. Forestville firefighters and Alstar Ambulance assisted at the scene.
