The State University of New York at Fredonia is gearing for an appearance by Bill Nye "The Science Guy" later today. The world-renowned scientist, engineer, comedian, author and inventor will deliver the campus' annual Convocation Series ar 3:30 pm. University spokesman Mike Barone tells WDOE News there's been a lot of interest in the visit.
Barone-High demand for Nye
Barone says Nye is in such high demand, he will only be spending part of the day at the university.
Barone-Nye will spend the afternoon on campus
Nye will be speaking in Steele Hall. He has won 18 emmys and has written five children's books about science.
