Gas prices in Chautauqua County are down less than a penny this week to just over $3.51 a gallon for regular unleaded. That from the AAA's weekly Fuel Gauge report, which says the price is down about half a penny from last week. Gasoline was just over $3.69 a gallon at this time last year. The statewide average price for regular unleaded is now about $3.45 a gallon. Nationally, the Fuel Gauge reports that the average price is down about 10 cents a gallon to $3.09 per gallon.
