A Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department K-9 is credited with locating another person wanted by police. Sheriff's deputies say they were seeking 22-year-old Spencer Burke of Stockton on several active warrants last night when he fled out the rear of a residence on Mill Street in Stockton and entered an overgrown field and swamp. Deputies using K-9 Drago were able to successfully track and locate Burke who dressed in camouflage and was hiding in thick brush behind the residence. Burke is facing charges of criminal tampering and three counts of petit larceny. He's now in the Chautauqua County Jail on bail.
