Accomplice could get stiffer sentence for not testifying in trial

The alleged accomplice who refused to testify during the recent Davide Coggins double-murder trial could get a longer stay in prison when he's sentenced in January. That's according to Chautauqua County District Attorney David Foley who says a pre-sentencing conference was held in the case of Steven Todd Monday. Foley says that since Todd said he would not testify, he had two options to take on the defendant's plea to two counts of first-degree manslaughter. One was to take the case to trial...
Foley-Accomplice could get stiffer sentence
After conferring with the family of the murdered couple, 66 year-old Gordon, and 59 year-old Joyce Skinner, Foley decided to push for the stiffer sentence. Sentencing is set for January 26th.
