The Resource Center is coordinating U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots drive in Chautauqua County for the 15th straight year. The goal is to collect enough toys to provide one “stocking stuffer” and one larger gift to every child who is registered to receive assistance through Toys for Tots. Last year, more than 2,300 children in Chautauqua County received toys. Collection boxes have been placed at about 80 area locations, and people are encouraged to put new, unwrapped toys in the boxes. Boxes will remain at most locations until December 19. Cash donations can also be sent to The Resource Center at 200 Dunham Avenue, Jamestown, NY, 14701. Checks must be made payable to Toys for Tots.
