If you have to fill up at the gas pump while traveling this holiday weekend, you may notice a lighter burden on your wallet. According to the AAA's weekly Fuel Gauge report, the average price for regular unleaded gasoline in Chautauqua County is now down to $3.25 a gallon, about a nickel lower than last week. However, some stations in the area are now closer to the statewide average of $3.19 a gallon. Nationally, the average gas price has fallen for 60 consecutive days. It's now at $2.81 a gallon, the lowest nationwide average price since November 4th, 2010.
