Jamestown Police arrested a woman alleged to have committed an armed robbery at a gas station in the south county city late Friday night. Jamestown Police say the woman displayed what appeared to be a handgun at the Kwik Fill on Forest Avenue just before 10:00 PM, and demanded cash from the drawer. The suspect, 25-year-old Kimberly Ballenger of Jamestown, then fled the store on foot and was located a short time later. Officers found the stolen money in Ballenger's possession and also recovered an authentic-looking air-soft pistol. She is being held on charges of 2nd-degree robbery and 2nd-degree menacing.
