The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory from 4 pm this afternoon until 9 am Saturday for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and southern Erie counties. West winds 10 to 20 mph will cause wind chill values as low as 20 below. Meteorologist Kirk Apffel of the Weather Service says we'll see temperatures begin dropping later this morning.

That's cold enough to quickly bring frostbite to exposed skin. The dropping temperatures will cause slush or water to freeze up on untreated roads. Drivers will want to allow extra time for the morning commute.
