In a statement from the PSC, the granting of the certificate is subject to extensive conditions to ensure public safety and to minimize impacts to the environment. National Fuel Gas would construct the 9.5-mile, 16-inch diameter natural gas transmission line in the towns of Dunkirk, Pomfret and Arkwright along with the City of Dunkirk and the Village of Fredonia.
