Two separate drug raids in the city of Jamestown within the past 24 hours has led to two arrests. The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force carried out the first search warrant Thursday afternoon at 143 English Street where they arrested 27-year-old Ricardo Ramos for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree and located 9 grams of cocaine, a quantity of cash and narcotic sales paraphernalia. The second search warrant was carried out earlier today at 607 Washington Street where they picked up 37-year-old Melvin Ingram. He allegedly attempted to flush multiple bundles of heroin down the toilet. Investigators were able to recover more than 20 bundles heroin. Ingram is facing criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd and criminal tampering with evidence.
