Voters in Chautauqua County will be casting ballots for a total of 195 offices during the November general election. Offices up for election include two State Supreme Court Justices, 19 county legislators, all Dunkirk and Jamestown city officials, and the mayor's office in the villages of Silver Creek, Lakewood, Celoron, and Falconer. There will also be a number of Town Supervisor elections, including the towns of Arkwright, Chautauqua, Cherry Creek, Hanover, Ripley, Stockton, Villenova, and Westfield. County Elections Commissioner Norm Green says prospective candidates for those offices should now be seeking endorsements from political parties to secure spots on the November ballots.
