A blaze in Jamestown has left a two-story apartment house uninhabitable. Jamestown fire officials say crews were called to 19 Pearl Avenue shortly after 5 pm on Thursday with flames coming from second floor and moving to the attic. The house was unoccupied at the time of the blaze and there were no injuries. Fire crews had the blaze under control in about a half hour. The Red Cross is assisting a first floor family. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
