The congressman's office indicates that Reed voted in favor of the 2016 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act. Reed says the measure would increase funding for improving access to care, expediting the backlog of VA claims, and medical research. In supporting the bill, Reed says its unfair that veterans have been subject to "inexcusable" delays and frustration in the VA system.
