Dunkirk city Democrats will meet this evening and will determine the slate of candidates for the fall elections. The committee is expected to issue endorsements for all city offices including mayor, councilman at large and other Common Council seats. WDOE News has learned that incumbent Mayor AJ Dolce may face a challenge for the endorsement. Dolce and Councilman at Large Willie Rosas have not announced their intentions this fall. The only incumbent to announce re-election has been Fourth Ward Councilwoman Stacy Szukala who did so on WDOE's Viewpoint program in April.
