Dunkirk Police Investigating Friday Night Hit-and-Run

Dunkirk Police are investigating an incident where a vehicle struck two other vehicles, including a police car, on Friday. WDOE News has learned that the driver of a vehicle led police on a chase that began on 2nd Street in Dunkirk just after 9:15 PM. A source tells us that the suspect struck a Dunkirk patrol car, then fled on foot after hitting a parked vehicle in the 600 block of Leopard Street. A number of other police agencies, including State Police and Fredonia University Police, assisted with the search for the driver. The investigation is continuing.
