Police in Jamestown are looking for a suspect who shot someone multiple times late Friday afternoon. Jamestown Police investigators say the incident occurred at the Tops supermarket on Washington Street just before 6:00 PM. Surveillance cameras captured a vehicle, believed to be a Ford Focus, drive up to the victim as he walked out of the store. He was then shot several times at close range. The vehicle then left the parking lot and headed north on Washington Street towards Fluvanna Avenue. Anyone who may have information on the incident or may know the location of the vehicle is asked to call Jamestown Police at 483-7537.
