Jamestown Police have two suspects in custody in connection with Friday's drive-by shooting at the Tops supermarket on Washington Street. Around 10:30 AM Saturday, investigators located the vehicle involved in the incident; it was found unoccupied and parked on a street on the city's south side. Two suspects, whose names are not being released at this time, are being held in the Jamestown City Jail and will be charged with 1st-degree assault. The victim, who was shot multiple times as he walked towards the store, is at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo in critical condition. Additional charges are possible, pending further investigation. The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Chautauqua County Forensic Investigation Team, Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office, and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department are assisting with the investigation.
