A 54-year-old Dewittville man is facing charges after several marijuana plants were discovered by County Sheriff's deputies who were responding to a report of a neighbor dispute last Wednesday. Deputies say they found eight marijuana plants growing on property owned by Thomas Cole of Centralia-Hartfield Road. After a search of the residence, deputies also found a small bag containing Marinol pills and several marijuana cigarettes. Cole was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and growing of plants known as cannabis by an unlicensed person. Cole will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
