A 14-year-old girl has been charged with first degree manslaughter in the death of a 21-month-old child that was placed in her care Monday evening. That's the word from Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace and District Attorney David Foley who held a news conference in Mayville on Wednesday afternoon. An autopsy performed at the Erie County Medical Center showed that Joshua Jock Jr. died from strangulation according to Gerace.
