A preliminary report has been issued and it has cleared the way for demolition work on the collapsed portion of the Coburn Block in downtown Dunkirk. The building collapse at 123 Central Avenue forced the closing of the entire Coburn Block as a precaution. A structural engineer and the insurance adjuster examined the site Thursday afternoon according to Mayor AJ Dolce. He says city officials received the report this morning.
