The Dunkirk Fire Department has announced that it will hold the first citywide fire drill on Wednesday, October 14th from 6:00-7:30 PM. The fire department says during the drill, they are asking city residents to check their smoke detectors, make an escape plan and practice the plan by having a fire drill at home. Fire department personnel will be out driving through the various city neighborhoods during the drill. Residents can give them a wave and stop them if they have any questions.
