State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced Thursday that his office has obtained a settlement with the national drugstore chain Walgreens for overcharging New York consumers and using misleading advertisements. Walgreens will pay $500,000 in penalties, fees and costs and will reform its advertising practices in the state.
