An Angola woman is facing felony charges after an investigation into a grand larceny case in the Town of Brant. The Erie County Sheriff's Office reports that detectives arrested 33-year-old Jennifer Moore on charges of falsifying business records and grand larceny. Moore is accused of voiding cigarette transactions after a customer left with the merchandise. Investigators say they observed on surveillance recordings that Moore would void the transaction after the sale and later steal the matching funds while reconciling the cash drawer. Moore has been arraigned on the charges in Brant Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
