The House and now the Senate have passed a bill to help relieve Puerto Rico’s 2 billion dollar debt. It'll now head to the president’s desk. The bill doesn't contain any funding, instead it's a new law that temporarily prevents creditors from suing Puerto Rico for not paying its bills. Governor Andrew Cuomo says he's glad the bill was approved and should put the island on the road to recovery. Cuomo says New York is home to more Puerto Ricans than any other state in the nation.
