A Stockton man is in the Chautauqua County Jail after he allegedly kicked and punched a vehicle in Silver Creek. An investigation by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies found that 22-year-old Quentin Lawton had caused about $1,100 worth of damage to a vehicle on Hanover Road at about 5:00 PM Thursday. Lawton was later taken into custody on a warrant charging him with 3rd-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Hanover Town Court and jailed on $1,000 bail.
