Congressman Tom Reed's opponent in the race for the 23rd Congressional District is criticizing Reed for the holding a regional manufacturing summit, saying that it was "an attempt to hide his terrible record on trade." That's according to Democratic candidate John Plumb who accused Reed of voting for every foreign trade deal that has come before him in Congress. Reed disagrees with Plumb, saying that he did not vote for NAFTA or any other trade agreements...they came before he got to Washington.
