A Jamestown man whose driver's license had been suspended or revoked 27 times before has been arrested after allegedly being caught speeding in the south county city. Jamestown Police say a patrol spotted the vehicle, operated by 47-year-old David Bemus, traveling west on East Second Street about 7:00 PM Monday. Officers pulled Bemus over and allegedly found him to be driving with a blood alcohol content more than 2 1/2 times the legal limit. He was also found to have been convicted of DWI within the past 10 years. Bemus was arrested without incident and charged with speeding, unlicensed operation, felony DWI, and 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
