Gasoline prices are inching up across New York State and prices at the pump are now higher than they were a year ago. AAA of Western and Central New York says the national average price for regular unleaded gasoline is now $2.22 per gallon, down 2 cents from last week, but the New York State average continue to increase. The average price across the state is $2.37 per gallon, up 1 cent from last week. A year ago, the statewide average was $2.36.
