Fall 2016 Was the Third Warmest in WNY History

Our recently concluded fall season was a near record one in Western New York. That from meteorologist David Thomas at the National Weather Service in Buffalo. Thomas says November ended up being the eighth warmest since records have been kept, dating back to 1871. He says the months of September, October and November were the third-warmest ever, with temperatures during that span running about four degrees above normal...

But the relatively mild weather won't last long. Thomas says a change in weather pattern is expected to take place by late next week, around December 9th or 10th.
