Rallies Across the Country Held to Prevent Repeal of Obamacare

Protests are going on across the country as President Donald Trump rallied supporters in Florida on Saturday. In Manhattan, Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, a New York Democrat, led a rally to oppose any repeal of the Affordable Care Act -- also known as Obamacare -- as part of demonstrations in other cities. During the rally, Velazquez told supporters that the GOP's plan to replace the ACA will not help working families who need medical coverage...

Velazquez added, "If ACA is stripped away, doctors and nurses will see a dramatic surge in charity care."  Local congressman Tom Reed held town hall meetings in Chautauqua County on Saturday, with the Affordable Care Act among the main topics. WDOE will have more on Reed's town hall meetings on Sunday.
