People are still talking about the town hall meetings area Congressman Tom Reed held in Chautauqua County on Saturday. Nearly 200 people turned out for the meeting in Ashville where the event drew so many people, it had to be held outdoors because of the fire code. The future of the Affordable Care Act was on the minds of many people on hand. Reed was booed loudly after reiterating his stand on repealing and replacing ACA. Abortion rights and the future of the EPA were other issues that come up during the town hall. Plenty of protestors turned out at other town hall meetings held in Cherry Creek, Great Valley, and Fillmore in Allegany County.
