A power outage is occured this morning, affecting a portion of the city of Dunkirk. The outage, first reported shortly before 6 am, apparently happened in the area of Pelican Street according to National Grid's outage map and it affected nearly 350 customers in the city. Among the customers impacted by the outage, the Dunkirk Police Department which had to use an emergency generator. Power was restored around 9 am.
