A North East, Pennsylvania man was taken into custody after leading police on a high speed motorcycle chase on Saturday. At about 11:30 AM, Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers tried to stop a motorcycle for traveling 80 MPH in a 40 MPH zone on Route 20 in the Town of Ripley. Deputies say the operator of the motorcycle, 41-year-old Roy Rebel Yokom, failed to comply and was pursued across the Pennsylvania State Line into North East, where he crashed while trying to negotiate a curve on Route 426. Yokom was uninjured, but was arrested and is currently being held without bail in North East. Yokom will be facing numerous charges in New York and Pennsylvania. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of the Town of Ripley.
