Two people in Jamestown were arrested Monday after a brief vehicle pursuit. Jamestown Police saw a black SUV run over a stop sign in the area of Willard Street and Allen Street at about 5:30 PM and leave the scene at a high rate of speed. Police determined that the SUV was trying to evade apprehension due to the driver's speed and reckless operation. Police detained the vehicle in a driveway on Hedges Avenue. The driver, a 17-year-old male, was charged with obstruction and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. A passenger, 21-year-old Karee Rizzo-Walker (picture), was allegedly found to have 11.6 grams of cocaine and an additional 5 grams of a cutting agent commonly used to mix or dilute cocaine. Rizzo-Walker faces one count each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
