Severe weather ripped through parts of Western New York Thursday afternoon. In Erie County, there were reports of a possible tornado in Hamburg a little before 1:00 PM, with severe storms hitting areas north of there. Approximately 20,000 NYSEG customers in Erie County lost power due to the storms. So far, Chautauqua County has not been affcted by any severe weather.
