Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a Mayville man who had allegedly written and signed checks that did not belong to him to a local business. Officers took 31-year-old Ronald Hall into custody Wednesday afternoon and charged him with 2nd-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Hall was arraigned, then remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail set.
